Gone Fishin

Matt bought Ryan a new Spiderman fishing pole, so of course he could not wait to use it. The first thing he said when he saw it was "ah, dad your the best." Then he went and got all his fishing gear put on so we had no choice but to go fishing. We decided to go down to Twin Falls Falls the one day with Kolin and Karsen and let the boys fish together. They were so fun to watch. He looks so grown up with them. I kept telling Matt to keep a good eye on him because it took all his might to cast out his pole and sure enough right before we were getting ready to go he cast himself into the water. Thankfully, he is such a water bug that even in 40 degree water he wanted to strip off all his clothes and go swimming.

He had so much fun that day that a couple days later we ended up having nice weather again so I took him down to Derkies. My parents ended up showing up and since my dad is a pro fisherman he got his hook all ready for him, worm and all. Which was great because I was just going to let him pretend he had everything he needed to catch a fish. Thank goodness for papa because he caught a fish his first cast.
